The eighth generation Honda Civic FD was introduced in September 2005. The Civic FD features a redesigned dashboard incorporating a two-tier instrument panel. The upper panel is completely electronic and contains a digital speedometer in the center and the coolant temperature and fuel displayed as an indicator on each side. The lower tier is slightly smaller has a back lit analog tachometer and the digital odometer below it.
