Honda’s fifth generation Accord formally known as the CD chassis was launched September 9th 1993 for its release in 1994. It was designed larger by Yukio Kurosu and Konhichi Hirata to better suit the requirements by the North American market. In 1995 Accord debuted a V6 engine, a 2.7 L C27 borrowed from the first generation Acura Legend.
